Engine management helpp!!!

   After my last thread I had my vtr plugged in today to find out my spluttering and eml problem, we cleared the fault codes down, and every time the only one which came back was 'check engine management light' anyone know what this is???

   Did you bother fixing the faults?Otherwise the light will come back on.

   sorry, i might not have been clear. the light was on, so my mate works in a deaership, so we plugged it in on a scanner, cleared the fault list down, but one thing kept on coming back, it wouldnt say what it is, all it said was 'check engine management light' was wondering what it means when this is in the fault code list??

   anyone have an idea what this is? checked faults on the reader and all it says is check engine management light? doesnt tell me why its on though

   what reader did you use ? some readers aren't technical enough or don't have certain software to give out any codes that aren't p codes

   was a snap-on modis reader

   The snap on readers are quite frankly shit.
   
   I had nothing but problems with mine so recently bought myself a lexia not had one problem since.
   
   Get your car plugged in at a dealership or by some one who has better than a "code reader".

   snap on readers aren't shit I have verus and the things that will do compared to say launch or cheaper models but best to get it plugged in somewhere with the citreon pug software

   it was at a dealership a honda one, but still a dealership its really starting to annoy me now
