#2its either not spaking.. or not getting fuel to those cylinders
have you checked its sparking on those two? -
#3It's sparking yes .... In the process of trying to remove inlet top hat to have a look at injectors ... Anything else should maybe check
-
#4check injector loom
it should have an igntion live.. and batched earths, its probably lost the earth for cylinders 2/3 -
#5if its sparking, then its not getting fuel. if its both cylinders, and it happened simultaneously i would be looking into the loom.
-
#6Yeah both at same time ... Shall investigate in morning if I can get those bloody 2 bolts underneath off grrrr ha
Thanks guys
Right so got the top hat off to check the injector loom and my mate tested them and all reading equal .... Any other suggestions as what could possibly be ? -
#7compression test?Quote:Right so got the top hat off to check the injector loom and my mate tested them and all reading equal .... Any other suggestions as what could possibly be ?
Head gasket may have blown between the 2 cylinders.
If you've got spark, and you're getting signal to the injectors it has to me something mechanical? Logically. -
#8Yeah my mate said that's next step compression test .. Cheers see what's what next weekend now
-
#9Have you had the injectors out and the rail and tested them out of the head?
-
#10Think someone mentioned injectors? Have to check if they working?

#11Not tested those injectors yet as just strange that 2 have went .. And it is the firing order 2&3 that not working ... May swap them around at weekend just too rule it out ..

#13I'd put money on it being injectors. 2&3 are fired at the same time, so if ones shorting, the other wont work.
Just pull them out of head and turn it over all attached to fuel rail and loom, soon see if fuel is coming out. -
#14Will try it Friday nightmare thanks
