Bonnet Lifts

   Been reading about bonnet lifts. Think mine has bonnet lifts on it as it does sit slightly proud. Looks shite.
   
   Where are they situated and how do I get them out?

   As far as I'm aware they will sit on the bonnet mounting points, up near the windscreen.
   
   I suggest removing them asap, not only will you look a raving chav/homosexual it also does something to the airflow in the engine bay (so I've heard).

   Hold on, just had a look on google images, as I'd only read text and I see what you mean, they raise it at the rear. My bonnet appears to be raised at the front a bit, doesn't sit flush with the pieces of bodywork beneath the headlight/above the bumper

   If look on the slam panel mate you will see 2 rubber bung's that you can screw in and screw out. Think you will find them above the headlights.
   
   screw them in will lower the bonnet closer to grill/headlights
   
   screw them out will raise the bonnet at the front
   
   hope this helps better than 'sounds like its been crashed mate'

   I didn't even know this,thanks for the info,will try this on mine since it's not perfectly symmetrical.

   Okay ideal will have a look. Sorry for sounding like a dumbass but I'm used to bikes, not cars. What's a slam panel? Is it just the edge of the engine bay?

    Yes mate just above the lights. Where the bonnet catch is. and no worries mate will learn somewhere
