   anyone know if there are differnt types of plugs for mk1s and mk2s ?

   Think so mate. Mine is knackered and a Mk1 cig-lighter is too big IIRC. I'll prob grab one out of MK2 when I next go the scrappy.

   my doesn't work, noticed it was rusty, took it out cleaned it put back nothing, looked behind & noticed some dohnut has cut the wires lol, fail.
   
   but yes i believe there the same.

   I paid think it was £3 on ebay & bought a universal type,which you snip the standard connectors off then use insulated spade connectors.Its better in a way because this one lights up blue & matches my stereo(sad I know lol)
