Needs advise please :)

   Hi
   
   I was just wondering what type of paint would I need to paint my wiper arm? As the paint has worn off and I just wanted to freshen them up. I know it's probably metal paint but can it be any metal paint or can I go for gloss one?

   If i remember correctly the wiper arms are aluminum (correct me if I am wrong gents) so if it's down to metal you may need ali primer.
   
   On a side note, glossy wiper arms? Really...

   did mine satin black with ordinary spray paint after keying them up with a scotch pad

   Dear Flid78,
   When you have flatted them back, don,t forget you must use a panel degreaser ( applied to the arms before primming them and also after primming them ) to eliminate pickling

   You can have what you want mate, a lot use satin.You could try hammerite then there is no need for primer.

   With anything you paint them just don't paint over 3 coats ,mine started pealing like a banged up prostitute ,and you need a primer all in all 10 pounds in spray ,and i say go for the satin one

    I got mine powdercoated.
    
    Satin black hammerite would do the trick just to tidy them up a bit though
