Removed seat belts and now their stuck.

I removed the seatbelts a few weeks ago and went to put them back in last night only to find that they have locked up on them selves and want to pull in.

Its a sealed unit and was thinking that was a 'reset pin' you press and it stops the restraint? How do you get them working again?

    Thanks

The way i done it was to take off the side without the 'G' sticker, pull the pin to the side and take some belt out and put it back together.

If you take the side off with the 'G' sticker on then be prepared to get bitch slapped by the coil that jumps out!

    Put them in the car
Once they are in the correct orientation the ball bearing drops and you can pull them out

So if you roll the car on its roof, the belt is holding you in place!

Untill you undo it yes thats why they are designed like that otherwise if you were upside down it would extand and drop you on your head...

The button release still works thats not what hes referring too in his question
