Best instant gasket?

    Normally use Holts, But they have changed the formulation and its now pissy and really wet.

    Any ideas and links please, Need it this weekend.

    Thermostat housing on the vtr. So high pressure water, heat and oil.

    Curil T is recommended

    I ran out last time and used tiger seal lol, most other sealants I've fund to leak from there in the past

    This. Curil T is the don. I use it on everything I can. Never sets hard, easy to clean off. Never had anything leak with it.

    I had to order it from some random internet shop that looks like it was designed in the 90's. Very old school. No online payment processing etc. I'll see if I can find a link, or something more modern ideally. Hold on.

    Thanks just ordered some now. Is it one of those you put it on then half tighten the part then when its fully set tighten to the correct torque?

    No - it never "sets". Just tighten.

    Could you use that as a sump gasket?

    Mine is leaking on my Zafira, looks like what I need.
