Hello,as title, this issue is really annoying me,a few weeks ago i decided to make a new gasket as there was some leak on both cam covers, decided to start with the cover closer to the radiator, used a gasket maker called "V.Tech Vital black RTV",i even got a pic when the gasket was done.

The leak has decreased but it still leaks!
Was wondering what would you do in this case, seems like Jp4 rocker covers may be the solution but don't want to spend 40-50£ for that, how did people solve this? Thanks.

People solve it using jp4s covers, jp4 covers are known for always finding a way to leak.

on the j4 covers take them off underneathe there are some raised point file them flat the redo gasket as you have and it should solve the problem if not jp4 covers are the way forward

Are you sure its coming from the rocker covers & not the oil cap,as they`re known too leak?

The problem is once they are taken off they normally will always leak. You need to try and get hold of the rubber seals to suit the covers.

Grind down the lugs get them equal then re-seal

This. Mine are flat, and sealed with Curil T. Never leaked once.
