what do I need for new engine

    Have just bought vtr engine and has turned out to be diffrent to mine mine got diffrent oil filter will I need to change ecu or will mine be ok for it

    as your X reg it could be either as your 'crossover'
    the ecu will be fine but the plugs on the engine will be different.

    phase 1s have the cartridge filter. phase 2s have the paper cartridge inside a black plastic tub that sticks up.
