vts cams

    my vts cams have gone noisy all of a sudden any ideas anyone,will it die. can hear them with bonnet closed i've checked the oil level and its got plenty in the engine just cant understand why they have gone noisy is this a common fault.

    Cams or tappets?

    Check the oil in it, has it been ran dry before? Noisy cams is a weird one..

    Always check oil never left to run dry just not sure what the noise is car runs fine it's just annoying me now
