doesnt sounds like the mounts are in good nick to be honest. Video?
  3. #3
+1 on the mounts dude video would help aye

has to be mounts, nothing else really, unless your flywheel is about to leave the engine in spectacular fashion.

engine power is ok when driving? (coilpack/lumpy idle).

Much gearstick movement if you dip the clutch whilst driving?
  6. #6
cant do vid got to buy new air intake, power good when driving and no gearstick movement plus had new clutch 2000 miles ago

Engine side mount has collapsed. No real visible change as the engine sits in a recess anyway.
Give the engine a good shove, it should be fairly free moving, if its rigid, the mount has gone i would say.

Alternatively, has it had a new clutch or flywheel fitted in the last 1000miles or so?

its had a new clutch avnt got recipt but gona get uprated 1 plus change flywheel as dont think its been changed
  9. #9
would it be drivers side mount or passenger mount or lower mount
  10. #10
It would be most likely drivers side engine mount.
Just take it off and have a look.
put a jack against the sump, take the ecu out with the 3 size 8 bolts then undo the engine mount, its 3 16mm bolts and 2 13mm iirc, takes about 10 minutes.
If its all well and good look else where, if not, you know your problem, replace it.

nice 1, already taken off the ecu so should be easy to do
