Important! : EAC Fail ? Serious issue.

   I know this isn't Saxo related but my misses just had her Fiesta mk5 " EAC Fail " on her.
   
   Its happened in the past, doesn't do it for months, then randomly does it.
   
   She was on a massive island and the car just cut out, of course you can imagine there's a potentially large accident risk when it happens in such circumstances.
   She had her sisters kids with her aswell
   
   
   Does anyone know how to rectify this " EAC Fail " ? ( I think its accelerator sensor or something ? )

   Hers happens intermittently though mate. The guy on the thread seems to suggest a fix for a permanent EAC light ?

   Well an intermittent fault is often the sign of something on its way out,too total failure so i`d try the fix mate.

   You referring to the mass airflow sensor ?
