Slammed Vtr driveshaft problem

  1. #1
i have a mk2 saxo Vtr which has been slammed, i have put a new clutch + gearbox + two reconditioned shafts in, problem is that the n.s.f inner c.v boot is allready split due to how low my car is!. is there any modified shafts for the saxo for being lowered?, i only replaced the shafts as i thought they was knocking, but it was the gearbox causing all the knocking noises

If slammed your supposed to replace bottom arms too although noy sure about modified shafts

I doubt it split that fast because of being low! Mine touches the tarmac all juiced out and nothing rips. Driven static for over a year and mine only went when i took the shaft out as i ripped it out!

    raise it up then.

My cars pretty low and it wears through driveshaft boots like no tomorrow! Go through more boots than tyres lol
You can get custom shafts which are a tiny bit longer but cost a bomb, or you can what i did and modify the shafts to run a longer boot

Use some universal cv boots which are longer

    Get bigger boots!
