cambelt

   the wifes saxo as descided to strip a few teeth off the cambelt, it was on tickover and just stopped.
   what damage do you think would have been caused? or should i just fit a new belt time it up and take it from there?
   2000 1.1 BTW

   You will easily be able to pick up either just a 1.1 head or whole engine for pennies though

   yeh quick bay check engines aint dear.. heads seem to of similar price tho. and i would get it skimmed before refitting. hmm if i was gona do that may as well rebuild the head already on it. how much are valves? last i bought was around £8 each but that was a while ago.

   valves appear to be around what i said in last post on ECP, headset around £30, skim another £30... definate realms of new lower milage engine
