Unused speakers wires doubt.

   Hello,i'm tidying up the wires in the rear bench zone and there are these speaker's wires that i won't use,i've removed the plastic thing and i'm left with this:
   
   
   
   My doubt is,is it safe to join them together using an electrical insulation tape (so they are in contact with each other) or this may cause a short circuit (if this happens the fuse would just break up but would like this not to happen firstly)?

   Tape them so they arent touching eachother

   Or just trace them back and remove them

   As said above. Either tape them so they're not touching each other or remove them from the source.

   Wrap them individually then wrap them together. Problem solved.

   Two are the speaker wires. 1x green + 1x red
   
   The other green + red are for rear door central locking, if on a 5 door.
