do i use gun gum on manifold,

   so im going to fit a loverly 4-1 mani, im not sure weather i buy a gasket and thats it or do i have to gun gum around gasket Nd that? a mate said u only need a gasket is this true

   Not really meant to use any. I didnt, doesnt blow. When i took the orig gasket off, it didnt have any on.
   
   Buy a new gasket from Citroen.
   
   Will look hideous if you cake that all over.

   Never use gun gum. Use high temp gasket sealer. Pastes dry brittle

   Nightmare! If you have a decent gasket then it should seal properly itself. Are all of the studs definitely there?
