    Dear DannyvTr,
The first thing you need to do Danny, is to prioritse what is wrong with your car. It could be just as simple and cheap as putting a new catalytic converter and a new oxygen sensor ( as a faulty oxygen sensor can cause the failure of the catalytic converter )
Or worse case senario, it may be cylinder head gasket aswell, what you really need to do is to some basic checks first, ie remove the plugs and see what state they are in and colour, then a compression check etc.
There are plenty of very well clued up people on here that can help through mostly anything.
All you have to do is ask the questions and someone will have come across those problems before.

    Dear DannyvTr,
The first thing I would check Danny with regards to your charge warning light bieng on, would be put a voltmeter across the + and -battery terminal. then you need to go and start the engine, then switch on all your electrical items, headlamps main beam, hazards, hrw, interior fan on full speed. then you need to hold the revs on the car at 3,000 rpm ( as this is when the alternator is charging at it,s most ) you should have a reading on your meter of 13.6 volts to 14.2 volts. These readings are for a car with a healthy charging system Danny.
See how you go from there Danny,
