Still having issue with my cars guys and need help and advice!! According to another member I have a 1999 engine loom on a vts, runs fine and is not shy of costing me money for fuel! I still don't have a rev counter or speedo! The loom was spliced for a 3plug 106 independence, the dials worked fine in that! So I'm kinda hoping it might just be the dials! Any idea guys? Help is much appreciated!!!!all comments and advice is welcome

#2Sounds really stupid and don't intend to offend your intelligence but is it plugged in?

#4sounds to me like whoever spliced the loom didnt connect up the tacho and speed sensor wires correct?

#5The kid that had the engine before me said that he sent the loom to pugsport and they did it

#8I don't understand what combination of parts you have.
106 dials in a VTS with a 106 engine loom?
The speedo signal wire is in a different position on a 106 to a saxo on the interior loom. So that could be the problem there.
Not sure about the tacho though

#9Car is a vtr with a vts engine loom, loom was spliced by pugsport for a 106! The dials are the standard vtr ones! I've disconnected the battery for half hour and when I did it, the rev counter did move but only a little bit but still wasn't up to the idling speed
