ABS Help!

  1. #1
    Hello everyone.

My car went in for MOT last week and failed on a few things. I got all of the problems sorted but one.

My abs light was on and they plugged it in and it came back saying there was no reading at all on both passenger sides.

So my only guess was both the front and rear sensors on that side.

I got the new sensors and fitted them but the light is still on!!

Anyone know what else it could be?

    Shannon.

Seems 1000-1100 is where it should be, any lower its dead.

I have a imtermit one atm. It pops up every 2-3 month to say hi, then randomly goes I have a multimeter i just cba to check it. The rears got changed last year when i bought the car so i know its only one of the 2 at the front or both.

I've just been and disconnected both terminals of the battery as before I only did the positive terminal for about 20 mins.

Mine came on about a day before my handbrake cable snapped. not sure if related or not. Cant see any damage but I'll be out tonight with my multimeter! I'll probably replace all 4 so I get a matching set. so they all send the same signal to the ECU.

    What about the other 2?

Or maybe the ABS Module is knackered?

As I said in first post, the initial mot failed and they're plugged it in there and then to tell me there was no reading from the near side at all so I've only done those 2 but light is still on -.-
