my brother in law said, coinciding with a few threads ive read, that tyres weigh a ton.i've read that a vtr rim is stock weight at 7kg, matching that of it;s tyres?! considering this, would it make a greater difference to have, say an ultraleggerra, boasting half th weight of a vts rim (8kg without tyres ive read) with tyres that make a diameter total of +3% over OE spec or the stock vts weight with a tyre -0.5%?
i know diff tyres weigh diff amounts so please include this in your reply. also, i ask th difference with regards to handling, cruising, stopping, etc. whatever your knowledge can shed light on
