Hi could anyone please help me identify what is wrong with my car it was fine yesturday then all of a suddenly when i started accelerating heavily started vibrating the wheel, and gearstick i know saxos rattle and clang alot but this is different the best way to describe it is as if i was about to fall off a bike shaking side to side its not to that extreme just a example... it also sometimes started keeping the revs up when i press the clutch in but dies down quiet quickly could this be e.g. gearbox, clutch, driveshaft etc

thanks to anyone who can help

shock absorbers probably on their way out? May also be worn / cheap tyres, or combination of both for that matter

clutch also on the way out. Don't rag it uphill or you will smoke what's left of it quite rapidly.

thank you very much could it be anything to do with a driveshaft as i know the inner drivers side needs doing quiet badly ?? As for the clutch it shouldnt be slipping as the plate was replaced last november and i havent actually drove it like a dick tried to look after it ...

if cabin is vibrating with the engine i would be looking at the mounts.

if it's been changed recently then maybe it's sitting too high. Anyway if it's holding the revs up then it needs looking at. Now if one of your driveshafts also shows signs of going, I'd have the pair changed.
