if i get a race pipe will it sound better?

   im thinking of buying a race pipe, as i have a magnex system and it sounds week and crap, so im thinking of buying a decat race pipe so decat no centre silencer , and putting my old
   back box on from my standard system, anyone ever done this and did it sound totaly cool or ?

   It dounded tinny and poo
   Kinda like a 50cc scooter tbh

   Decat and de-midbox the magnex system and it will sound decent enough
   
   A standard backbox on a straight through system as above will sound cheap and tinny

   I found a standard back box on a 4/2/1 and supersprint midpipe sounded standard, just a bit blowy at idle.
   
   If you decat they get a lot louder!
