The nearest remap place to me is big fish near middlesbough, on there website they say the c2 vts will go from 125 to 137 without any mods.. Mine has a 4-1 manifold, closed induction kit, straight through sportex centre section and 3" sportex back box. It gets regualar services so is a pretty healthly engine, what sort of figures can i expect to make with the above mods ?
C2 vts, what to expect ?
-
#1
-
#2expect about 135hp at the very most
-
#3Standard they said they won't let it leave with anything less than 137 ?
-
#4Will do 140bhp MAX with those mods, cammed VTS engines generally only do 150-155bhp.
-
#5They have potential, but do need cams to release more, before getting a map I would investigate which cams will fit the standard piston and valve train.
180+ is possible on std rods and inlet, but you would need cams pistons and possibly headwork. -
#6on their rr you would get maybe get 145 by the sounds of it, but actual figures would be as said aroun 135
-
#7130-35 max
-
#8I would cam it before a remap otherwise i see the remap as being a bit wasted.
I would imagine their rolling road over reads slightly. -
#9Evo tune is what I would recommend mate only 15 mins up the a1 from you. Giv Jamie a ring n see what he can do. He just got 213 out of John Pauls boosted Vts.
