juddery and no power in engine!! HELP

   hi
   when i drive my car on long journeys after about 40mins of driving my engine starts losing power and gets juddery what is this and how can i fix this please

   sounds like a missfire, eml light on when that happens?

   yes it came on and now is on full time and flashes when it gets really bad.
   how can i fix this?

   get it on a code reader to start off with, what car is it?

   if you have a spare coilpack kicking around, or a mate has one, try that on it

    Saying that if it starts juddering when the engine gets hot it could be the coolant temp sensor deffo worth trying that 1st they are about 18 from local motor factors

    Coolant temp sensor should not affect the car when its hot,a coil pack that`s breaking down will though.

    Temp sensor will affect the car when its hot, if the sensor thinks the car is cold when it is hot it will have the same affect as leaveing the choke on so you get a bad air to fuel mix and runs like a bag of crap

    Not saying that it will not be the coilpack as I very well could be just temp sensor is a cheep try for the sake of 18
