how to relocate the battery in the boot ?

I'm going to attempt to relocate my batter to the boot of my 106 gti, how do I go about this ?

I have a length of thick cable the same size as the original set outn so I place the battery in the boot, connect my positive cable to the battery then tuck it underneath the carpet untill I get it through the bulk head then I will need a box so I can have a T junction for the alternator and the small fuse box ?

And the earth will just go from the battery to the rear seat mounts one one of the two 13mm nuts ?

Any help would be much appreciated

Use proper battery cable NOT Audio cable as some people advise it simply isn't up to the job!!!!

You want it at least capable of 135amp continuous
At the front you can use a junction box to split the cables.

Need a new earth on the engine to the body
Again use a good thick cable and make sure where it connect to the car is good clean metal

Yeah that's the kind of thing.

Use one post as a feed in from the battery.

The other post you can run a few ring terminals off to go to the relevant circuits
