Fuel gauge problem...

   Right so when I start my car my fuel gauge bounces 3 times and then sits at the bottom and does not give me a reading, so fair I've tried to re-earth my sender unit and also changed the clocks but still no reading, could I look at changing the sender unit now

   Arent the sender units on the fuel pump?. Mine went dodgy so just changed the pump only a tenner from u pull it.

   Get a new fuel pump it has the sender unit built into it......worked for me when my gauge gave up the ghost.

   Mine did excatly that, new Earth wire from top of sender unit to the connector under the back seats. If youve already done that then id check the sender unit its self. It has a resistor attached to it, if this has gone then it'll be a brand new sender unit.
