Soon to be breaking. Few questions.

   As the title says. I will be breaking my 51 plate saxo vts soon. I have never done this before. Afew questions first though.
   Mainly what do people do after removing the rear axel in terms of getting it off the drive and onto a scrap wagon with no wheels. Do people expect things to be taken off already for them?

   Most good breakers or scrap metal people with have a claw to lift it off the drive, pikeys will just drag it though.

   lol it just depends on the size of the company you phone, alot will have flat bed truckes without the claw, it is mostly big companys that have a lorry with a claw from my experiance, but either way they will take it off the drive just tell them before they come to see if they are ok with it.

   yes some people do but you can charge them more for doing so, or just strip everything off in one day and store it so it is ready to go, or you can just save 'any items for sale, self removal required.
   can be some good money made out of it just depends on the car.. saxo's have a few bits that are commmon to go and will sell straight away.

   Cheers guys. Some one suggested dropping it on trolleys. I best get busy then. The axle is a fairly new recon one. New coil pack. Got a misfire problem tho.

   Strip everything off(I mean everything)Down to a bare shell then get the angle grinder slice the shell up into small enough pieces.Then weigh it in.

   The gear box mate I got from a scrap dealer. No idea what mileage/car it came out of. Was ment to be a vts but it wasn't a straight swap. Some arms had to be bent apparently.
