Just.contemplating fitting the ultreleggeras 16 I have coming . Fit them to my vtr of swap for bucket seats?

Tyres cost, and wear bearings faster but look great

Seats r safer and relatively maintanance free but harsh for ride. What would you do?

    "wear bearings faster"

    Wut..?

I think you go WAYYYYY overboard thinking stuff over.

    I'd go for wheels..

It's my first car that i'm looking to take care of and to keep so sorry! Being overprotective.

The bearings went almost right away on my first car when 16" were fitted but tbh, I wasnt paying as muchaattention so they may have been shagged anyway.

Tell me to Shhhh if I'm wasting time on stupid stuff thats menial thanks for the reply

Go for a decent set of seats, imo.
16s are a bit big for a saxo if you ask me, tyres are also going to be pricey if you decide to track it

Don't know. If my first car had any bearingss replaced before I got it at 80k but as said, my exp is that I needed new ones right away. Thanks for your input, gives me a little more mechanical faith

I thought it was having big spacers that wears bearings faster not wheel size?

well having a new diamter +>4% from OE means th speedo for one is out considerably. then, it's a larger mass to rotate, thus wearing the bearing out faster then something that matches OE. that's what my exp and some reading up has sumamrized. be it the bearing, driveshaft or tran, something should give up sooner. i welcome anyrebuttals but otherwise, it's something i aim to maintain

    195/45/16.... 50 rub

looks lik 40 !!is that down 60 back and 50 front?, hows th ride?

    thanks for the pic

wheels usually make the car imo

a set of ultraleggeras arent very common and will stand out more than a set of buckets. Plus, with buckets you need to get matching doorcards and back seats or it'll look out of place

My bad it was too early when I typed it.

    They are 195/40/16... 45 rub

And it's 60mm on the front and the back to match but I admit it looks alot lower on the back in that picture
