Fuel gauge bein a retard!

    Had my saxo for about 6 week but recently i noticed i barely getting 20 miles out of it before red lights on :/ i checked the sender by doing the regrounding bit with yellow/green wire but still nothink.. Checked clocks and swapped still same people reckon it could be the float/sender unit inside pump??

    what saxo do you have? it could be fault with the ecu, there could be a issue with the sensor...
    i has an issue with my clocks once and disconnected the battery for good few min and connected it again worked fine
    changing the clocks gives a different mileage btw..

    i checked clocks and it a vtr 2001 .
    ill disconnect battery see if this makes a dif

    Check ECU and also Check the sersors if wiring is ok its one of them

    Id personally replace the pump/senda unit. Can get um cheap enough on ebay

    It ok i took the pump out seen the float sender looked dirty cleaned it all working fine now looked like the float wasnt connecting properly
