Cleaning ICV

   Alright chaps, just been cleaning my ICV and noticed it has a spring inside of it, should this spring move up and down allowing the valve to move in an out with normal hand pressure as mine is extremely stiff, or is it solely controlled by the ECU and only it can make it move?
   
   Don't want to force it incase I break it thats all

   if I remember I couldnt move the one on mine when I cleaned it, and mine idles sort of Okay so I think it needs power

   Cleaning and spraying in a something like wd40 can only help either way

   Just spray it and clean it with a tooth brush

   yeah, dont force it too much.
