Cd Player No Display

   Hey ladies and gents sorry if this has been posted before but im new to the forums.
   
   Well i have recently purchased a 2001 Saxo VTR which came with no sterio. So i plugged in a friends spare cd player to use till i get my own but there is no display or no lights on the buttons. But when i click eject i can hear it ejecting.
   
   Im not very good with electrics any help or advice will be much aprichiated.

   Chek your wiring and make shaw that there is no cables hiding behind the stereo, also it may be a fault with the stereo. Look up on google "how to fit car stereo" that should help

   If its got a removeable front take it off and check and clean the connector strip. Blutac is a good for cleaning the strip. Make sure you are getting a good connection between the face plate and head unit
