c2 vtr conversion

my friend has a c2 vtr 04 automatic which the box has gone so he is scrapping the car , so he says i can have anything i want for £100 i was thinking of dropping the engine in my mk1 vtr i just need to no what i need do i just need the loom ecu and engine , so plug the engine loom in to my car drop the engine in and use the unlocked ecu , but i no i may also need to swap the flywheel , i dont no about many conversions on this i have tryed searching but not found much about what i want , i just need to no what is needed to do the conversion in my vtr thanks
