Front end clunk!

    Evening lads

    Just wanted to pick someone's brains about a clunking sound from the front end of my 2003 VTR since I got help with my last problem..

    It only makes this sound when I'm going over a speed hump or if I hit a biggish bump.

    The springs were replaced less 500 miles ago so I'm thinking that I might need to replace the ARB drop links and ARB bushes.

    Based on what I've said I'd like someone's input to see if I'm on the right path.

    Ball joint, bit of a pig to do ain't it? If it is and I do replace them is it still worth doing the parts I mentioned since I'll be in that area of my motor?

    i had the same problem with mine and it was the ball joint drop link bar connecting suspension leg to anti roll bar easy peasy to do. take your wheel off and get a bar between your wishone and prise up and down and see if your ball joint goes in and out that will be your problem or it will be the opne at the top

    My advice is change the full wishbone, getting a ball joint pressed in is hassle and a at least the rest of the bushes will be new when you get a replacement wishbone.

    I'm just going to put new drop links in there cheap enough and it's a easy job. If that wont sort it I'll replace the wishbone. The drop links would probably need replacing anyway.
