Headgasket question

  1. #1
    Hi everyone.

    Just a quick question...

I had my headgasket repaired/skimmed the other day and since the car has been fine. I was just checking my oil and water and noticed silicone sealant down the right hand side of the engine (sorry i dont know much at all about cars), where a pipe from the radiator connects to. my question is; have the garage done some sort of bodge job or is this for some sort of extra sealant for something else?

Thanks in advance & apologies for the panic post!

    Phil

Yeah at my garage we always add extra instant gasket for piece of mind should be fine you can get a blade and trim it if it annoys you
