coilover boots, socks, keep the shit out covers...

As above, been doing some work on the black car lately and noticed that the coilovers are not looking pretty after only 7 months use.

I have searched ebay and google for some sort of over the coil covers... found some for a jap spec coilover thats it. Thought there would be a big market for this sort of thing...

Anyone?

Chances are, theyd not last very long, whether they got nipped and torn, road debris destroys them etc.. Same sort of things that eventually ruin the dampers and springs etc

Ran 'socks' on my last car, seemed to make the situation worse held alot of moisture and grime.

Best thing I did was cover in copper slip, then wrapped in gaffs tape so it stuck to its self. Abit of hassle but when ever I came to adjust nothing was seized and they looked brand new after a rinse in the parafin tank,

cheers lads, i not updated my blog properly in a while but the cars coming off the road for good, so no dirty road miles will be going on it anymore.
