Best Road Legal Mk2 VTR Exhaust?

basically my standard exhaust has started rattling..

not had a proper look underneath it yet to find the cause.. but from previous experience with them.. it sounds like something has rusted away in one of the silencers and is blowing about inside and rattling....

i want to replace them both at the same time as the joint between them is rusted beyond belief.. and its less faff..

i want to replace them with good quality stainless parts that will last, be road legal.. and pass an MOT no problems.. but most of the stainless systems i've seen have just been straight through race back boxes... which aren't road legal..?

ideally i'd want to not be too noisy and i don't want a huge bean tin like back pipe sticking out of the back, something discrete!

ill be looking to replace the manifold too down the line for a nice 4-2-1 but that will have to wait until at least the car has been through the MOT next month..

does anyone have any recommendations?

if you leave a cat and centre box in then a stainless exhaust system shouldnt be too intrusive, depending on which one you buy. Now which one to buy is all down to personal choice, which I'm sure others will recommend what they have used. I cant do that as mine is rather noisy

saxsport cat back is a good make, i like them as it gives a nice sporty sound and isnt too loud untill you take it high revs and pops

Saxsport as there designed not to be noisy for track or road, and suit the bumper the best. They come in a 2"tip or a 3" tip. Sound awesome and a nice raceland or supersprint manifold would go nice
