Rear speaker wires

I am looking to just connect my 6x9s off my rear speaker wires, the reason for this is because taking the rear door panels off looks like quite a big job. So could some one tell me where the back speaker wires run and if I can find them without removing door panels ?

Really isn't hard to remove quarter panels.
take out the bottom section of the rear bench, open rear window, lift the rubber seal up then pull the panel off
me personally wouldn't fit 6x9's , id rather throw them in the bin

if its a standard/simple head unit and you just want a bit of an upgrade, 6x9 will be fine.

I've done this in my wifes Mini and its got decent sound and bass (we're not talking show stuff or out the park bass here but a definite improvement)

I fitted phono plugs to the wires at the edge of the parcel shelf and then picked up the wires from behind the quarter panels and fitted a small female phono plug out the way at the top of the quarter panel. That way its easy to remove the parcel shalf...just unplug the 2 phono leads and remove shelf

Yes I'm not looking for a best sound in the world just an improvement because at the moment it sounds like a speaker you get free with a tub of Pringles. If the door cards give me hassle ill deffo try that mate thanks.
