Lowering 1.1 Desire?

   Hi, i got my 1.1 desire a few weeks back and i really want to lower it. It looks way too high and feels like it will tip when i go round a corner! How much should I get it lowered by for it to look decent, and how much will it cost roughly parts included?
   
   Also if anyone knows someone who can do it, I am located in the Buckinghamshire area.

   yeah get gas higher and lower when you want.
