Hey guys. After some help if possible. I not long ago fitted my race land 421 manifold. Since then the EML has been on obvious as I had no Lamba sensors. I managed to get one of of my oem manifold, extended it and put it in the first hole. I ran the car like this for a while and was fine. Fuel was good etc. then just before this weekend I knew I had a long drive for the weekend so thought it would be a good idea to do the second sensor as it was a 3 hour drive each way. So I extended it all and tidied up the wiring etc. fitted it all but didn't reset the light but I just left it. Fuel was still okay. But then I was driving down to torquey and about 2.5 hours into the trip my car was all lumpy on idle, put my foot down in first gear and it was all spluttery. It then started to lose a lot of fuel like I could actually see the needle falling! So got it home jacked it up to see what the issue was as it was blowing to, so I was under the car whilst friend revved it to see where the blow was coming from. It was the connection of centre section to backbox and it was pure black smoke!! And stank of fuel. So tightened it up but it runs lumpy and pops and bangs loads (more black smoke when it pops) really confused on what the issue is?! Could it just be that it's running really rich due to lamba sensors?? Blocked injectors? Help!!!
Thanks in advanced.
