1st and 2nd gears squeeking

   It is a 1.1 ans just the first 2 gears are squeeking Is there anything I can do to fix it? Cheers

   Will try that when I get home do I just take the leather cover off and smack a laod of grease down?

   assuming it's the gear stick, yes. Don't smack a lot, clean the dirt and grime and dust that you will find first then apply a little grease.

   just done it.. it doesn't seem to make much difference, I also put a lil wd40 down the ball thing, I will wait till the morning in might need to bed in.

   Wd isn't really that good. Needs to be grease

   if it squeaks, you have more dirt than grease in there.

    Is it when it's warm? Gear box oil?

    no it does it all the time, just the first two gears the rest are fine, am I putting the grease on the white plastic ball yes?
