Mots and dashs

   What do i NEED dash wise for an mot?
   
   Is it warning lights and a odometer? Do i need speedo etc?

   Yes mate, if it has ABS then the light needs to come on and go out with the engine running smae with the SRS light and all other warning lights need to work and mileage etc etc, the main beam warning light needs to work aswell.
   
   Speedo and rev counter arent tested on an mot mate...oddly it is illegal to have no speedo fitted/not working yet its not tested on mot

   They take the odometer reading though(in case the car is clocked)

   With the odomete reading though how does it come about when you change your clocks? As in my mots mines gone from 108k to 67k to 4500 on the next mot! Cos of changing my clocks twice..

   Each time you have an mot the mileage is recorded,so anyone looking to buy your car can go on the vosa website & see its history.

   Ah so it just changes in the record Thats fine as i still have the orig clocks etc
