brakes smoking!!

   Gave the vtr a good clear out and when i pulled up front brakes were smoking is this normal on these !! I know i can drive quite hard but my 205 and 5 turbo never done this.

   Unless you were driving hard and breaking harder no its not normal.
   
   Check the slider pins are lubed up and free moving. Also you want to check for the pads binding.
   
   If I was you I would replace the pads clean everything spotless lube the pins and replace if pitted then go from there.
   
   Was there any judder in the pedal when breaking?

   Yeah there was a bit of judder and i was braking hard from 110 to standstill.

   braking hard from 110 to a stop a few times will kill standard brakes, especially with run of the mill pads.
   
   First thing i changed on my VTS was the brakes.
