Cold air feed

   Can anyone give me some advice re: cold air feeds? I've just brought a piperx ik it sounds lush above 3k but as you know would benifit from a cold air feed, currently it's got the standard feed blowing on it but it's not the same as it comes thru just above the rad.
   
   Tis a vtr btw.

   you could direct an air feed from the lower grille . just next to the right hand side foglight . there should be enough room to direct behind the radiator .

   you can buy plastic air ducting from halfraouds i belive . i know piper cross sell them as extras also though .

   b&q get some heater ducting, comes is plenty of diamaters, cheap aswell

   Thanks guys, YM03 that sounds like the most cost efficent will have a look tommorow, had a scout around my engine bay I might dremel a bit of my radiator plastic cover off and stick a feed through there as it's right at the bottom of the engine.

   Damn good point I didn't think about that, but it should be okay should it not as the piping would be going upwards to reach the filter plus as it's not attached there will be no suction on it really it will just channel cold air will it not?
   I mean the way I see it is it would be diffrent if it was part of the original airfeed as there would be pressure drawing the air in but this would simply be a channel.
