seat belt removal

   so after doing a search on old threats, when you take the seat belt unit out, you can't let it wind in too much otherwise its dead. So, stupid question, but how do u stop in winding in too much when taking it out of the donor car/putting it into mine.

   When u take it out of the doner car just pull the belt out a little before u take it out and tie a loose knot in it near the end so it doesn't roll up.
