Piper Cat back race system

   Hi all,
   
   there's a opportunity for me to buy a race Piper catback 2 1/4 inch system with 3" tailpipe.
   
   Anyone had this system? if so what is it like in terms of loudness?

   i have a piper backbox its very loud but i also have a 4 2 1 mani, decat and straight through pipe...which helps

   oh right, yeah this is just a catback system mated with a oem cat and oem manifold. Do you think it will still be loud with this setup?

   Hmmm in that case ill probably leave it. Would you say for £65 it's worth it?

   I'd snap it up for £65 TBH
   
   I know its not a Saxo, but i run a 4-2-1 Janspeed, sports cat and centre section on my car, i had a janspeed back box too but that was really loud, I put a piper 3.5" and its still loud but it has a really nice note to it.
   
   Just go for it dude, end of the day if you dont like it, someone else will so you shouldnt have any problems selling it on.

   Doesn't look like that, the back box is much square on and the tail pipe slightly shorter

    Definitely a Magnex, If the OP is after a nice sounding (imo) and reasonably quiet system that will fit the bill nicely.

    I'd be surprised if it was a 2 1/4 inch bore as well.

    looks just like a scorpion i had years ago on a saxo
    
    only had the backbox and it was quiet as fuck. With the straight through pipes abd decat it should have a nice tone but wont be too loud

    Hmmm think ill leave this exhaust and let someone else have it...
