Can you swap standard key fob from car to car?

   One of my saxos has a standard key fob with the black sensor near the sunroof handle. The other saxo doesn't have the black sensor. Can i swap the standard key fob from one car to another? will it all just plug into another saxo?

   Physically it`ll all plug in,but i`m sure i`ve heard it needs to be re-coded from car to car.Not 100% sure on this though mate.

   would it just be simpler fitting an alarm/hawk central locking?

   One is infrared (black sensor) the other is RF. Not transferable. Imo, youd be better just getting a new alarm.

   my mk1 has the infrared one with black sensor, my early mk2 doesnt seem to have a sensor anywhere, but does have a keyfob
