brakes feel hard

    What could be the reason for the brakes on my 16v to feel hard?

    Seems like I have to really press on them for the car to brake and it doesn't brake very quickly/sharply tho I am pressing quiet hard and firmly on them

    Vacuum hose to the servo from the inlet might be disconnected or have come off

    I did check that mate, I pulled it off and started the car and you could feel the pipe sucking so that was fine, brake fluid looks fine also

    Wondering maybe the servo itself?

    Simple suggestion, you tried bleeding the brakes and new fluid?

    Haven't tried but haven't really bled brakes before only helped a mate once before doing hid lol

    Worth a go, if it doesn't help then it's a good thing to do every now and then anyway. Pretty simple to do, IIRC its haynes 2 spanner, so you shouldn't have any problems

    Is there a bleed guide on here anywhere that you recommend? Have all tools etc just heard that you need to specific wheel order or something?

    Furthest from the MC and work your way in wards. So on these I do offside rear, near side rear, offside front then near side front

    Best to bleed with engine started or switched off?
