16v belt cover

    Am I right in thinking the back Cambelt cover can only be removed if belt and pulleys are removed?

    Mine has broke at the top by the inlet side and its rubbing against the pulley so sounds a bit dodgy

    Yeah the lot needs to come off.

    No way im removing the belt and pulleys just for that lol can stay like it untill I do the belt and clutch which I might even fit some adjustable pulleys and maybe cams lol

    If its rubbing badly just snap off the offending bit. Ive even know a few people run them without covers with no problems.

    Though i wouldnt.

    I got a bit of a rattle too when I rev the car not sure what it is down to yet and havne't had the time to check with the weather not being on our side lol time I get home from work I don't get time to check things out so it will be a weekend jobbie and also to try work out why my brakes are so hard
