MAP sensor

    Narrowed a load of fault codes down today but still have one or 2, one for purge valve circuit and one for MAP sensor.

    It's definitely over fuelling though I've tried 4 MAP sensors though all unknown conditions and 2 different part numbers.

    I have an engine that was single plug but its now running in my 03 plate, Mapped with three plug.

    Question is, will anything else make it throw up MAP sensor before I buy one, and which one will I need?

    Obviously being single plug and now three plug I could even have the wrong one

    to be fair I have had one off ebay and it was kack I'd stick to the brand names from likes of eurocarparts and such haven't had any issues with one from there same as the idle valve.

    Fair comment though it does say it's a genuine Bosch part from a power seller - will shop around I guess

    its up to you but I prefere to have some comeback if it is faulty I could pop local shop n stuff. plus when I bought off euro car parts I had discount for like 50% off its why I ordered of them at time for all the sensors and coilpack

    Yeah seems logical, i'd sooner just have my power back
