What pipe can i use for powersteering?

  1. #1
Ive had some custom powersteering pipes made up to run powersteering on a low car. However im still very tight on space with the closer of the 2 powersteering pipes. I was wondering, seeing as its not a high pressure pipe (if im correct the pipe at the back is the high pressure one?) can i use copper pipe like you would with brake lines? i just need something more flexible than the standard metal pipes.
The custom one ive had made doesnt have a flared end and so uses this adaptor below, which makes it stick out a bit too far

    Any ideas anyone?

Why dont you put a non pas rack on it?

because i hate having no powersteering. I remember a 1.1 i had once without it and it was dreadful

My standArd mk1 pipe went yesterday because of rubbing on the steering rack around that area so i would also like to know if i can use something else?? Sorry for mini hi-jack
